Hei! Joku saattaa vielä muistaa tämän blogin olemassaolon - tai sitten ei. Tai, no, oikeammin sanottuna muutama yksilö sen kyllä ihan oikeasti muistaa, sillä on kysellyt kovasti saisiko tekstejä taas näkyviin. Daily Ekohan siirtyi Evita-lehden sivuille noin kaksi vuotta sitten, ja kyseinen muutto tappoi hetken päästä blogausinnon kokonaan . Talvella 2012 päätin, että blogi on tullut tiensä päähän niin Evitassa kuin täällä alkuperäisessä majapaikassaankin, ja pistin kaiken...

Kaksi muuttoa

Tässä ihan lyhyen ajan sisään minulle tarjoutui kaksi hyvin erilaista muuttomahdollisuutta. Muutto numero yksi koskee ihan perinteistä asunnonvaihtokuviota , ja siirrän siis lähiaikoina itseni sekä omaisuuteni vajaan kilometrin verran länteenpäin :-) Muutto numero kaksi sen sijaan koskee virtuaalimuuttoa - ja on oikeastaan jo tapahtunutkin: Daily Eko siirtyy blogspotin tarjoamasta kirjoituspaikasta Evita-lehden uutuutta hohtavaan nettiportaaliin ja nappaa samalla sisällökseen myös...

Recent photos

Photos from last 10 days or so. The weather has been mainly gray and rainy, but we've had a few sunny days as well. De Nieuwe Kerk from behind. Beer truck looks almost like a painting on the wall. Kermis (funfair) came into town. A lovely house and the groundfloor holds my favourite book store in all Delft. Autumn is here. Bikes at the station. At the petting zoo.

Theme Day: Yellow

Yellow theme day today happens to coincide with the start of the annual Crazy Days (Hullut Päivät) sales by Stockmann. I haven't had the chance to go to the sales today. Everyday till the 4th, the store has different items on sales. During this time, you can see people carrying a number of big yellow shopping bags. Maybe I'll try to bring you a shot of that tomorrow. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny weather and so we decided to take a little walk outside the city center of Delft. Here's what we saw: Delftse blauw mosaic. And someone thought to be funny. Day 95: Stop!

Stop! The center of Delft is traffic protected mostly with these stop thingies. You need to have a separate key to get the middle one go down. I know a person who thought he could easily drive after a car that had a key without any damage to his car, but he was wrong. His car got lifted up. Stop!
