In the past few years, I've used iPhone 4S and Lumia 920 phones. Apple and Microsoft have their clouds working quite well, and at first glance, it seems amazingly good and simple: you snap a photo with your phone, and bam, it syncs into cloud, and from there, to any device you so wish. Same works with new contacts, calendar, videos... no wait, it doesn't. Apple does not support automatic syncing of videos to cloud from your device! You can publish them manually, see...
David Pogue writes in his New York Times blog about why he thinks there will never be an iPhone. His point is that the carriers (aka. operators) have so much power and want to influence every step in the product development of mobile phones. And that Apple doesn't want to give "veto power to ANYONE over its software design". He tells about his friends' - who've worked in the Treo development - experiences: "the carriers (Verizon, Cingular, etc.) have veto power over EVERY move you make. You...

Hei täällä Snow White, eikun Ninna, eikun Lumikki.. Damn I don't know!

Dead flowers under the snow. (Tampere Dec. 2010.) Valokuvatorstain 155. haaste on lumi . Lumi peittelee luonnon nukkumaan, valkaisee maiseman tasaiseksi, peittää värit, hautaa unohtuneet esineet, yltää parvekkeellekin, piilottamaan unohtuneet, rapistuneet, kuolleet kesän kukat.
I’ve done some searching for statistics on different types mobile platforms and their current global uptake. Here is a what I’ve found. Sometime ago I blogged about using well known web sites with mobile phones. Today popped into my mind to check out how well Finnish mobile sites has been done and how well them perform on mobile devices.Lazy bast.. eh, guy as I am, I used simple one page test only (offered by ready.mobi) and on sites which first came out from my hat (well, I don't wear a hat but I believe you know what I mean).

Mobilen rautakehikko on...
Diary of two mexicanhairless dogs Pancho and Chili -
I hope you all have had great summer! Not that it would be over yet. We are at the moment in Oulu. We are staying in Paulis dads apartment almost in the center of Oulu. All boys (including Pauli) are taking a nap right now. We just came back “home” so they are tired. Beginning of July didn’t feel like summer at all since it was raining a lot and it was pretty cold. But hey, I don’t mind rain as long as there is no snow :) . It's so funny how our boys don't like the rain at all. If...

Idea is to integrate all essential features inside the van, so we just drive it anywhere we want to show our stuff. Project will...
